Delete branch "ci/unprivileged-rust-host"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Problem
The
rust-hostrunner executed jobs asinseoon uvm. That account has NOPASSWD sudo and is in the docker group, so any approved PR job could gain host root.Change (infra, already applied)
rust-hostrunner now runs as the dedicated unprivileged userforgejo-ci. The user has no sudo and no docker group membership.Change (this PR)
sudo apt-get install gcc-mingw-w64-x86-64cannot run without sudo. The linker is now provisioned on the host, and the step only checks that it is present.Validation
The CI on this PR is the end-to-end test of the new runner.
